Master batches:
Virgin plastic base resin are neutral and color less, beside during the processing and application need to protect, modify and/or be more economical. So, producers need to add coloring agents, different additives and/or fillers to their formulation. Most of pigments, dyes, additives and fillers are in powder or some in liquid form but normal processing machine mostly design for solid granule feeds. It is one of the main reasons of making and using different master batches.
Master batches are concentrated mixture of pigments or dyes (color MB), additives (additive MB), or fillers (filler MB) in solid and granular form. Master batch formulating and producing in addition of scientifical, technical and engineering knowledge requirement, is a state of art so need to long experience and good talent.
